  • Mr. Vinayak Deodhar

    • Fellow Chartered Accountant in practice for over five decades. Mr Deodhar started Savali Charitable Trust in 2007 and has been associated with several social philanthropic initiatives.

    • Mr. Deodhar, along with his professional commitments including Directorship in a Government Company abroad, has been closely associated with various social responsibilities.

    • In addition to forming Savali, he has been a Trustee of a Public Charitable Trusts for an Old age Home, as well as the Founder Chairman Trustee of a charitable organisation engaged in aiding people below poverty line for their medical needs.

    • Around 350 families are direct beneficiaries of this and this organisation also provides various services to Senior citizens.

  • Dr. Mohana Gadre

    • DNB Anesthesia, founder Trustee of Savali Charitable Trust, works full time as an Anesthetist in Mumbai.

    • Right from her graduation days, she has been involved in providing medical assistance to the needy. What began as part of her Rural posting during her MBBS has become a personal calling.

    • Dr. Mohana is actively involved in ensuring that the recipients of medical aid provided by Savali is comprehensive and appropriate.

  • Mr. Shounak Gadre

    • Electronics Engineer from Mumbai University and has further completed his PGDBM from IIM – Lucknow. Shounak currently works as a Senior Manager in a large strategic consulting MNC.

    • Shounak has been a regular patron of charitable organizations like CRY and Helpage amongst others.

    • As a Management Consultant, he had the opportunity to work in Rural India, while consulting for a Micro Finance company. Having experienced first hand the requirements of people at the grass roots,

    • Shounak chose to actively contribute to help their lot. This led to Shounak joining Savali Charitable Trust as one of the Trustees.

  • Mrs. Madhavi Deodhar

    • MSc, DCM Software consultant, Founder Trustee and Social Worker

    • She is actively associated with the organisation working for Senior citizens.

  • Major General (Retd.) Sanjay Bhide

    • He has served in the Indian Army for over four decades.

    • For his performance in warlike situation in J&K, the President of India has awarded him the Yudh Seva Medal and the Vishisht Seva Medal.

    • With over 35 years’ service across the remote areas of the country, he has deep insight into the inequalities caused due to destiny and social structures.

Honarary Advisors

Trust has appointed 5 Honorary Advisors representing different fields and who are committed to social causes. They are as under:

  • Mr. Manoj Borkar

    • He is B com, ACA chartered accountant working as CEO in venture fund company.

    • Has wide experience in finance and also social work

  • Mr. Kiran Shingwekar

    • He is a B. Com from the University of Mumbai and an ACMA and has done an Executive Development Program at The Wharton School

    • He has an extensive experience in the Indian Equity Market having managed funds for International Investors.

    • He has played a pioneering role in the development of market for buyout of Distressed Asset in India.

  • Ms. Manisha Joshi

    • Manisha is a co-founder of Pramiti Philanthropy Partners, a philanthropy advisory that works with High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs), Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNIs), and family foundations across different causes and geographies.

    • An entrepreneur with an Engineering (VJTI) and MBA (NMIMS) background, Manisha has groomed and managed 2 IT ventures. She was part of the HNI Giving team at GiveIndia where she managed grant portfolios for families and individuals. She has been associated with Dasra and Humane Society International/India and works with the Maharashtra State Government as a Steering Committee Member for their drought proofing mission.

  • Mr. Rajesh Deodhar

    • MBA from London Business School and currently working with an IT major in London.

    • Founder Trustee of Savali and now playing an advisory role; is focused on developing social initiatives to help individuals make the most of their talent and potential and looking after technological platform of the Trust to reach maximum supporters.

  • Mr. Subhash Pethe

    • Mr. Subhash Pethe has over 40 years’ experience working in the Industrial engineering sector – Working for the first 10 years with reputed firms like Thermax and CPEC & Subsequently as an entrepreneur for the last 30 years

    • He holds dual B. Tech from IIT Bombay in Aeronautical engineering and Mechanical engineering

    • He is actively involved in helping Savali in the areas of education and self-sustainable livelihood for the economically challenged section of society.
